What You Will Probably See
Galapagos Sharks, Black and White Tip Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Sea Turtles, Manta rays, Sunfish, Dolphins, Sea Lions, Starfish, Sea Urchins, Assorted Fish Species, Blue Footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies, pelicans, and frigates.
Itinerary
All passengers need to arrive at the agency at 7h00 on the morning of their tour, where we will outfit everyone with snorkeling gear, including a short wetsuit, fins, and a mask and snorkel.
At 7h30, we will head to the Muelle Acuario I and Zarpe, where you will meet your naturalist guide and we will embark
We will take the boat to Punta Pucuna, here we will have our first landing. Passengers will have a guided walk through volcanic rocks, in this place we will enter some caves formed of volcanic lava. Normally you can see different endemic species around the place.
Then we will continue with our journey to Cerro Brujo, in this place you will see the cathedral, a naturally formed arch: an impressive geological structure, at this point you can take pictures, it is also possible to observe endemic birds around the area.
Navigation to Kicker Rock, once in the place, the naturalist guide will give the briefing, then the passengers will prepare for a snorkeling session. Here you will be able to observe the Galapagos shark, white and black tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, sunfish, dolphins, sea lions, starfish, sea urchins, and assorted fish species, etc. In the same way, you will enjoy the landscape of the majestic Kicker rock which is located on the west side of San Cristobal island. Around the rock we can observe impressive birds such as tropical birds, frigates, blue and Nazca boobies, petrels, and lava gulls.
We have a last stop at Playa Manglesito, in this place the passengers will have lunch on board(fish, chicken, vegetarian and vegan options will be available, as well as cold drinks and snacks).
Later on we will have a guided on the beach, in the same way, passengers will be able to snorkel. Here you can see many baby sharks, sea lions, rays, starfish, octopus, sea turtles, assorted Fish Species, etc.
The return time is approximately 16h00, depending on the sea conditions.

*In light of the pandemic, we will be implementing stringent cleaning policies. Every snorkeling equipment will be thoroughly disinfected between uses, and the agency and boat will be wiped down daily. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times.
