Day 1 – Arrival in San Cristóbal

From the airport arrival to the exploration of iconic sites like the Interpretation Center, Tijeretas, and Punta Carola, every moment is meticulously designed to immerse you in the historical and natural richness of this paradise. Reception and Transfer to the Hotel:

Upon arriving on San Cristóbal Island, our representative will extend a warm welcome at the airport. Subsequently, you will be transferred to your hotel to begin your accommodation experience.

Lunch at the Restaurant

After settling in, we invite you to indulge in an exquisite lunch at our restaurant, where you can savor the delicious local cuisine.

Tour of Iconic Points of Interest

In the afternoon, at 2:30 PM, we will guide you on an exciting tour of three iconic points of interest: the Interpretation Center, Tijeretas, and Punta Carola. Our naturalist guide will provide unique information about the flora and fauna of the Galápagos.

Interpretation Center: We will start at the Interpretation Center, a landmark site that reveals the history of the Galápagos Islands and San Cristóbal. Through images and maps, visitors will immerse themselves in the past of these lands.

Tijeretas and Viewpoint: Next, a walk of approximately 20 minutes along a natural trail will take you to the Tijeretas viewpoint. From here, you will enjoy the presence of birds such as frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, and seagulls.

Darwin Bay and Snorkeling (45 minutes): The journey will continue to the iconic Darwin Bay, offering the opportunity to immerse yourself in crystal-clear waters during an exciting snorkeling activity. Sea turtles, playful sea lions, reef sharks, and rays will be present in this underwater experience.

Punta Carola and Second Snorkel (45 minutes): Next, the itinerary will lead you to Punta Carola, a beach of singular beauty. Here, you will have the chance to practice another snorkeling session, encountering curious sea lions, marine iguanas, and dazzling fish.

Playa Mann and Return to the Hotel: Finally, we will head to Playa Mann, where you will have time to relax and enjoy another thrilling snorkeling session. Here, we will await the arrival of our transportation to take us back to the hotel.

Day 2 – Chatham Tour

On the second day, we will have an exciting land exploration. Visit Laguna El Junco to see birds such as finches and petrels. Then, meet the giant tortoises of the Galápagos at the Galapaguera before relaxing on the beautiful Puerto Chino Beach, where you can snorkel with turtles and rays. A day full of natural diversity in the Galápagos.

Arrival and Preparation

Start your day early. All participants must arrive at our agency by 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide. At 8:30 a.m., we will head to our first destination in our ground transportation.

The Junco Lagoon

Our first stop is “The Junco Lagoon,” located in an inactive volcano. You will enjoy a guided hike to the top of the volcano, where you will witness an impressive lagoon formed by constant rains in the high part of the island. From this elevated position at 650 meters above sea level, you will have a panoramic view of the island and the opportunity to spot various birds soaring in the skies, such as finches, frigatebirds, and petrels.

La Galapaguera

Our second point of visit is “La Galapaguera,” a natural laboratory that is part of the National Park. Here, you will take a guided walk through the area and have the opportunity to witness the majestic species of tortoise, Geochelone Chatamensis. You will discover how these tortoises are bred and protected from invasive species in this breeding center.

Puerto Chino Beach

Our third and final destination is the beautiful white sand beach of Puerto Chino, located on the east side of the island. Here, you will have time to relax on the beach or take a stroll along the coast, where it’s common to spot blue-footed boobies. You will also have the opportunity to snorkel and explore the crystal-clear waters in search of sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and a variety of fish species.

Back to the port

The journey comes to an end around 1:30 p.m. as we return to the port.

Day 3 – Discovery Scuba Dive

The third day of your incredible diving adventure takes you to Darwin Bay and Carawa, some of the most iconic places in the Galápagos. You will immerse yourself in its crystal-clear waters and explore its mysterious tunnels and passages. While diving, you will have the opportunity to spot sharks, turtles, manta rays, and an incredible variety of marine life. It is the highlight of your diving journey in the Galápagos and an experience you will remember forever.

Itinerary:

Arrival and preparation

Start your adventure early. All passengers must arrive at our agency by 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to Aquarium I Pier, where you will meet your scuba diving instructor and begin preparing for a unique underwater experience.

First Dive in Darwin Bay

We will sail to the spectacular diving site known as Darwin Bay, where our first dive of the day will take place. Your scuba diving instructor will provide you with a comprehensive briefing, and once in the water, you will perform surface drills. You will descend gradually using a line, allowing you to adjust to the pressure and avoid ear discomfort. You will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and explore the waters for approximately 45 minutes, depending on your air supply. This diving site is teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, rays, turtles, barracudas, batfish, sea urchins, various species of starfish, octopuses, and moray eels.

Recovery and Rest

After the thrilling dive, you will return to the boat to enjoy snacks and beverages. You will have a well-deserved rest of approximately 1 hour before your next underwater adventure.

Second Dive at Carawa

We will sail for about 15 minutes to reach Carawa, a diving site that houses the remains of a shipwreck from almost a century ago. Over time, this wreckage has given rise to the formation of a vibrant reef that attracts various marine species. Equipped with everything needed and after receiving another briefing from the dive guide, participants will immerse themselves in these historically rich waters. During the dive, which also lasts approximately 45 minutes, they may observe sea lions, rays, pufferfish, barracudas, turtles, sea urchins, different types of starfish, moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:00 p.m., at which point you will return to the port. Please note that the exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 4 – Lobería and Las Negritas Tour

Today marks the closure of your unforgettable journey through the Galápagos Islands. From the serene “Lobería” to the picturesque “Mirador de las Negritas,” a carefully planned day awaits you under the guidance of our experienced naturalist. The day will culminate with a contemplative snorkeling session at the “Lobería,” offering a final opportunity to immerse yourself in the underwater wonders of this archipelago. With suitcases filled with memories, we will head to the airport. This is not a goodbye but a thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Enjoy your last day in the Galápagos to the fullest!

Introduction and Start of the Day

All passengers must present themselves at the agency at 8:00 a.m., at which time they will have the pleasure of meeting their naturalist guide, marking the beginning of their day.

Lobería - Walking Tour

The transportation will take you to the first destination, known as the “Lobería” (Sea Lion Colony). Here, a walking tour of approximately 45 minutes will take place, following a natural trail along the picturesque coast of San Cristóbal Island. Along this path, you will have the opportunity to spot a diverse selection of marine bird species, such as blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, seagulls, and pelicans.

Mirador de las Negritas - Panoramic Experience

Next, you will head to the “Mirador de las Negritas,” a panoramic viewpoint of great interest. Here, the naturalist guide will provide you with a detailed explanation of the flora and fauna that characterize this environment. After this enriching experience, you will return to the “Lobería,” where you will have the opportunity to participate in a snorkeling activity for approximately 45 minutes. During this dive, you can closely admire sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, and a variety of fish, including colorful pufferfish and reef species.

Return to the Hotel and End of the Day

Once the activity is completed, we will return to the hotel to pick up your luggage and head to the airport.
