Day 1 – Cerro Tijeretas and Punta Carola Tour

Presentation and Interpretation Center

All passengers must meet at the agency at 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide, marking the beginning of their day. The transportation will first take them to the Interpretation Center, a landmark site that opens the doors to the history of the Galápagos Islands, and specifically, San Cristóbal Island. Here, they can immerse themselves in the past of these lands through images and maps, accompanied by a detailed explanation from their naturalist guide.

Hike to the Tijeretas Viewpoint

Subsequently, you will begin a approximately 20-minute hike along a natural trail that will culminate at the Tijeretas Viewpoint. From this vantage point, your senses will be delighted by the presence of birds such as frigates, blue-footed boobies, and seagulls.

Darwin Bay and Snorkeling Activity

The journey will continue to the iconic Darwin Bay, a space that will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters during an exciting 45-minute snorkeling activity. In the sea, you may observe sea turtles, playful sea lions, impressive reef sharks, and rays.

Punta Carola and Second Snorkeling Session

Next, the itinerary will take you to Punta Carola, a beach of unique beauty. Here, you will have the opportunity for another snorkeling session, lasting approximately 45 minutes. In this underwater realm, you will encounter curious sea lions, marine iguanas defying conventions, and fish displaying a dazzling array of colors.

Mann Beach and Relaxation Time

Finally, we will head to Mann Beach, where you will have time to relax and another thrilling snorkeling session.

Day 2 – Lobería and Las Negritas Tour

From the serene “Lobería” to the picturesque “Mirador de las Negritas,” a carefully planned day awaits you under the guidance of our experienced naturalist. The day will conclude with a contemplative snorkeling session at the “Lobería,” providing a final opportunity to immerse yourself in the underwater wonders of this archipelago.

Lobería - Walking Tour

The transportation will take you to the first destination, known as the “Lobería.” Here, a 45-minute walking tour will be conducted along a natural trail that runs along the picturesque coast of San Cristóbal Island. Along this route, you will have the opportunity to spot a diverse selection of marine bird species, such as blue-footed boobies, frigates, seagulls, and pelicans.

Mirador de las Negritas - Panoramic Experience

Next, you will head to the “Mirador de las Negritas,” a panoramic point of great interest. Here, the naturalist guide will provide you with a detailed explanation of the flora and fauna that characterizes this environment. After this enriching experience, you will return to the “Lobería,” where you will have the opportunity to participate in a snorkeling activity for approximately 45 minutes. During this immersion, you can closely admire sea lions, sea turtles, iguanas, and a variety of fish, including the striking pufferfish and reef species.

Return to the Hotel and End of the Day

Once the activity is concluded, we will return to the hotel to collect your luggage and proceed to the airport.

Day 2 at night – Night Snorkeling

Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters as night falls and discover an underwater world full of mystery. Equipped with special flashlights, we will guide you through this unforgettable night snorkeling experience, where marine species will unveil their fascinating nightlife.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Boarding

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the tour. At 6:30 p.m., we will head to Acuario I Dock, where you will meet your guide and commence your navigation towards Darwin Bay.

Preparation and Safety Briefing

Before entering the water, passengers will receive a detailed briefing from the guide about the site and safety standards. Additionally, they will be provided with an underwater flashlight before taking the plunge into the sea.

Night Snorkeling in Darwin Bay

We will sail along the entire coast until we reach Darwin Bay, where you will engage in an exciting night snorkeling session. Accompanied by our staff, participants will have the opportunity to explore the bay and marvel at the marine life that emerges during the night. From reef sharks and sea lions to the amazing plankton, the experience will be truly unique.

Plankton Observation and Marine Show

We will turn off the flashlights to allow for a clear view of the plankton. By waving their hands, participants will see everything around them light up with the radiant glow of these microorganisms. The sea lions, as they move, will activate the bioluminescent lights of the plankton, creating a spectacle akin to a shooting star in the sea.

Return and Refreshments

After approximately two hours of snorkeling, we will return to the boat to enjoy a hot beverage and a light refreshment. The activity will conclude with our return to the port around 9:30 p.m., depending on ocean conditions.

Day 3 – Bike Tour

The adventure continues with an exciting bike descent to the northwest, exploring endemic species and unique landscapes. We will visit the Galapaguera, home to land tortoises, and head to the relaxing Puerto Chino beach.

Itinerary:

Breakfast and Tour Commencement

Passengers will enjoy their breakfast at the hotel at 7:30 a.m. Subsequently, at 8:30 a.m., the tour will commence, and they will meet their Naturalist Guide.

Exploration in the Highlands of the Island

We will travel in our transportation to the highlands of the island, starting the descent from the highest point, El Junco. This dormant volcano houses a lagoon in its crater, providing a panoramic view of the island. Here, passengers will have time for photographs and to observe endemic birds.

Bike Descent through the Northwest

From El Junco, passengers will take their bikes to descend on the northwest side of the island, accompanied by their naturalist guide. They will have the opportunity to observe various species of endemic plants, finches, Galápagos Mockingbirds, owls, petrels, herons, among others.

Lunch and Rest

After the exciting journey, we will take a car ride to a nearby restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch and rest.

Bike Descent to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

We will take a car ride again to El Junco, where we will start the bike descent until reaching the town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. We will use a different road to provide passengers with the thrill of the bike journey.

Back to the port

The day concludes around 3:30 p.m. with our return to the port.

Day 3 – Discovery Scuba Dive

The third day of your incredible diving adventure takes you to Darwin Bay and Carawa, some of the most iconic places in the Galápagos. You will immerse yourself in its crystal-clear waters and explore its mysterious tunnels and passages. While diving, you will have the opportunity to spot sharks, turtles, manta rays, and an incredible variety of marine life. It is the highlight of your diving trip in the Galápagos and an experience you will remember forever.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Preparation.

Start your adventure early. All passengers must arrive at our agency at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your diving instructor and begin preparing for a unique underwater experience.

First Dive at Darwin Bay

We will sail to the spectacular diving site known as Darwin Bay, where our first dive of the day will take place. Your diving instructor will provide you with a comprehensive briefing, and once in the water, you will practice surface exercises. You will descend gradually using a line, allowing you to adjust to the pressure and avoid ear discomfort. You will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and explore the waters for approximately 45 minutes, depending on your air supply. This diving site is teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, rays, turtles, barracudas, batfish, sea urchins, various species of starfish, octopuses, and moray eels.

Recovery and Rest

After the thrilling dive, you will return to the boat to enjoy snacks and beverages. You will have a well-deserved break of approximately 1 hour before your next underwater adventure.

Second Dive at Carawa

We will sail for about 15 minutes to reach Carawa, a diving site that houses the remains of a shipwreck from almost a century ago. Over time, this wreckage has given rise to the formation of a vibrant reef that attracts various marine species. Equipped with everything necessary and after receiving another briefing from the dive guide, participants will immerse themselves in these historically rich waters. During the dive, which also lasts around 45 minutes, they will be able to observe sea lions, rays, pufferfish, barracudas, turtles, sea urchins, different types of starfish, moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:00 p.m., at which time you will return to the port. Please note that the exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 5 – Waterfalls Tour

In this unforgettable experience, you will immerse yourself in the lush beauty of the island’s waterfalls, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and unique flora. Guided by local experts, you will explore winding trails that lead you to discover these hidden waterfalls amidst the lush vegetation.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Meeting with the Guide.

All passengers must arrive at the agency by 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide. At 8:30 a.m., we will board our land transport to head to our visiting point.

Briefing and Guided Walk

Once at the location, the guide will provide a briefing about the site and safety protocols. There will be a guided walk for approximately 40 minutes along a trail until reaching the waterfalls. Passengers will have time to take photographs of this incredible site. Here, we will relax and observe the stunning landscapes, as well as the local fauna and flora.

Exploration of the Viewpoint

Afterward, we will walk for a short distance to observe the nature of this site until reaching the viewpoint. Here, you can take photographs of the site and see unique species from the islands.

Cascada Grande and Picnic

Finally, we will conclude at the big waterfall where you can swim and enjoy a picnic, consisting of fruits, natural juices, and sandwiches.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:30 p.m., at which time you will return to the port.

Day 6 – Kicker Rock

Embark on an exciting adventure with our Tour to Sleeping Lion in Galápagos! This itinerary will take you to explore one of the most iconic places in the archipelago, known for its imposing rock formation shaped like a lion. Throughout this excursion, you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel in crystal-clear waters, immersing yourself in an underwater world full of fascinating marine life.

Navigation and Sighting

During the navigation, you will have the opportunity to observe dolphins and various bird species. Upon reaching Sleeping Lion, you will appreciate the majestic upright rock of volcanic lava. The naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the location and the surrounding wildlife.

Snorkeling Sessions

Two snorkeling sessions are conducted, the first one from the channel between the two rocks, and a second session at the west corner of the rock. The naturalist guide may suggest additional sites or a longer session based on ocean conditions. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. You will have the opportunity to observe various marine species, including sharks, turtles, manta rays, sea lions, and a variety of fish.

Bird Watching and Disembarkation

Around the rock, you will be able to observe birds such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, pelicans, and frigatebirds. After visiting Sleeping Lion, passengers will have a disembarkation at a beach, which could be Manglesito/Puerto Grande/Cerro Brujo, depending on the boat itinerary. Here, you will take a walk along the beach and have time for a snorkeling activity.

Back to the port

The return to the port is around 3:00 p.m., approximately, depending on ocean conditions.

Day 7 – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel at 7:30 a.m.

Passengers will have the morning free for souvenir shopping or exploring more of San Cristóbal city and its people. They will be transferred to the airport depending on the time of their respective flights.
