Day 1 – Cerro Tijeretas and Punta Carola Tour

From the stunning panoramic view of Cerro Tijeretas to the pristine beaches of Punta Carola, this tour provides you with the opportunity to explore breathtaking landscapes, discover local fauna, and enjoy relaxing moments by the sea.

Itinerary:

Introduction and Interpretation Center

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide, marking the beginning of their day. The transportation will first take them to the Interpretation Center, a landmark site that opens the doors to the history of the Galápagos Islands and, in particular, San Cristóbal Island. Here, they can delve into the past of these lands through images and maps, with a detailed explanation from their naturalist guide.

Hike to the Tijeretas Viewpoint

Afterward, you will embark on a approximately 20-minute hike along a natural trail that will lead to the Tijeretas Viewpoint. From this vantage point, your senses will be delighted by the presence of birds such as frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, and seagulls.

Darwin Bay and Snorkeling Activity

The journey will continue to the iconic Darwin Bay, a space that will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters during an exciting 45-minute snorkeling activity. In the sea, you may observe sea turtles, playful sea lions, impressive reef sharks, and rays.

Punta Carola and Second Snorkeling Session

Next, the itinerary will take you to Punta Carola, a beach of singular beauty. Here, you will have the opportunity for another snorkeling session, lasting approximately 45 minutes. In this underwater realm, you will encounter curious sea lions, marine iguanas defying conventions, and fish displaying a dazzling array of colors.

Mann Beach and Relaxation Time

Finally, we will head to Mann Beach, where you will have time to relax and another thrilling snorkeling session.

Day 2 – Discovery Scuba Dive

The third day of your incredible diving adventure takes you to Darwin Bay and Carawa, some of the most iconic spots in the Galápagos. You will dive into their crystal-clear waters and explore their mysterious tunnels and passages. While diving, you’ll have the opportunity to spot sharks, turtles, manta rays, and an incredible variety of marine life. It’s the highlight of your diving journey in the Galápagos and an experience you’ll remember forever.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Preparation

Start your adventure early. All passengers must arrive at our agency at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your diving instructor and begin preparing for a unique underwater experience.

First Dive in Darwin Bay

We will sail to the spectacular diving site known as Darwin Bay, where our first dive of the day will take place. Your diving instructor will provide a comprehensive briefing, and once in the water, you will practice surface skills. You will descend gradually using a line, allowing you to adjust to the pressure and avoid ear discomfort. You will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and explore the waters for approximately 45 minutes, depending on your air supply. This diving site is teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, rays, turtles, barracudas, batfish, sea urchins, various species of starfish, octopuses, and moray eels.

Recovery and Rest

After the thrilling dive, you will return to the boat to enjoy snacks and beverages. You will have a well-deserved break of approximately 1 hour before your next underwater adventure.

Second Dive in Carawa

We will sail for about 15 minutes to reach Carawa, a diving site that houses the remains of a shipwreck that occurred almost a century ago. Over time, this wreck has given rise to the formation of a vibrant reef that attracts various marine species. Equipped with everything necessary and after receiving another briefing from the dive guide, participants will immerse themselves in these waters full of history. During the approximately 45-minute dive, they will have the opportunity to observe sea lions, rays, pufferfish, barracudas, turtles, sea urchins, various types of starfish, moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:00 p.m., at which point you will return to the port. Please note that the exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 3 – Chatham Tour

Exploring stunning landscapes, enjoying thrilling activities, and immersing ourselves in the rich local culture, you’ll have the chance to visit iconic places like El Junco, the Galapaguera, and Puerto Chino. Discover the unique biodiversity and fascinating history of the island.

Arrival and preparation

Start your day early. All participants must arrive at our agency at 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide. At 8:30 a.m., we will head to our first destination in our land transport.

El Junco Lagoon

Our first stop is Laguna El Junco, located in an inactive volcano. You will enjoy a guided hike to the summit of the volcano, where you will witness an impressive lagoon formed by the constant rains in the high part of the island. From this elevated position at 650 meters above sea level, you will have a panoramic view of the island and the opportunity to spot various birds soaring the skies, such as finches, frigatebirds, and petrels.

La Galapaguera

Our second point of visit is La Galapaguera, a natural laboratory that is part of the National Park. Here, you will take a guided walk through the area and have the opportunity to witness the majestic species of tortoise, Geochelone Chatamensis. You will learn about how these tortoises are bred and protected from invasive species at this breeding center.

Puerto Chino Beach

Our third and final destination is the beautiful white-sand beach of Puerto Chino, located on the east side of the island. Here, you will have time to relax on the beach or take a stroll along the coast, where it’s common to spot blue-footed boobies. You will also have the opportunity to snorkel and explore the crystal-clear waters in search of sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and a variety of fish species.

Back to the port

The day comes to an end around 1:30 p.m. with our return to the port.

Day 4 – Tour 360

Welcome to the 360 Tour, a unique experience that immerses you in a comprehensive journey through the wonders of San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos! This exceptional itinerary highlights five iconic destinations that offer a comprehensive insight into the biodiversity and beauty of this island. From the crystal-clear waters of Rosa Blanca to the fascinating León Dormido, our tour will take you to spectacular places, providing the opportunity to explore, enjoy exciting activities, and immerse yourself in the natural richness of the Galápagos.

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 7:15 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your naturalist guide, and the navigation to the various visit sites will begin.

Destination 1: Rosa Blanca

Navigation and landing at Rosa Blanca. Passengers will have the opportunity to snorkel in the Rosa Blanca lagoon, observing turtles, rays, sea lions, reef sharks, and various fish species. Additionally, they will enjoy a relaxing time on the beach.

Destination 2: Punta Pitt

Navigation around Punta Pitt islet, the only place on the island where you can observe the red-footed booby and other endemic birds. Possibility of sport fishing to catch tuna and wahoo, depending on ocean conditions.

Destination 3: Bahía Sardina

Navigation to Bahía Sardina, lunch on board, and landing for a walk and beach enjoyment. Option to snorkel to observe sea lions, rays, sea turtles, and more.

Destination 4: Cerro Brujo

Navigation to Cerro Brujo, where passengers will observe the cathedral, an impressive geological structure, and will be able to photograph endemic birds around the area.

Destination 5: Kicker Rock

Navigation to Kicker Rock Islet. A snorkeling session will take place to observe the Galápagos shark, black and white tip reef sharks, hammerhead shark, turtles, manta rays, moonfish, dolphins, sea lions, starfish, sea urchins, and various fish species. Additionally, passengers will enjoy the majestic landscape of Kicker Rock, observing impressive birds such as frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, wedge-rumped storm petrels, and lava gulls.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 5:00 p.m., at which point you will return to the port. Please note that the exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 5 – Las Cascadas Tour

In this unforgettable experience, you will immerse yourself in the lush beauty of the island’s waterfalls, surrounded by stunning landscapes and unique flora. Guided by local experts, you will explore winding trails that lead you to discover these hidden waterfalls amidst the lush vegetation.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Meeting with the Guide

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide. At 8:30 a.m., we will board our land transport to head to our point of visit.

Briefing and Guided Hike

Once at the location, the guide will provide a briefing on the site and safety protocols. There will be a guided hike for approximately 40 minutes along a trail to reach the waterfalls. Passengers will have time to take photographs of this incredible site. Here, we will relax to observe the stunning landscapes, as well as the fauna and flora of the area.

Exploration of the Viewpoint

Afterward, we will walk for a short time to observe the nature of this site, until we reach the viewpoint. Here, you can take photographs of the site and see unique species from the islands.

Cascada Grande and Picnic

Finally, we will end at the big waterfall where you can swim and enjoy a picnic consisting of fruits, natural juices, and sandwiches.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:30 p.m., at which point you will return to the port.

Day 6 – Night Snorkeling

Plunge into the crystal-clear waters as night falls and discover an underwater world full of mystery. Equipped with special lanterns, we will guide you through this unforgettable immersion, where marine species will reveal their fascinating nightlife.

  • And the highlight of this excursion is the opportunity to observe plankton

Itinerary:

Arrival and Boarding

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the tour. At 6:30 p.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your guide and begin your navigation to Bahía Darwin.

Preparation and Safety Talk

Before entering the water, passengers will receive a detailed briefing from the guide on the site and safety standards. They will also be provided with an underwater flashlight before jumping into the sea.

Night Snorkeling in Bahía Darwin

We will sail along the entire coast until we reach Bahía Darwin, where you will engage in an exciting night snorkeling session. Accompanied by our staff, participants will explore the bay and marvel at the marine life that emerges during the night. From reef sharks and sea lions to the amazing plankton, the experience will be unique.

Observation of Plankton and Marine Show

We will turn off the flashlights to allow for a clear view of the plankton. By waving their hands, participants will see how everything around them lights up with the glowing light of these microorganisms. The sea lions, as they move, will activate the plankton lights, creating a spectacle similar to a shooting star in the sea.

Return and Refreshment

After approximately two hours of snorkeling, we will return to the boat to enjoy a hot drink and a light snack. The activity will conclude with our return to the port around 9:30 p.m., depending on ocean conditions.

Day 7 – Lobería and Las Negritas Tour

Throughout this day, you will enjoy the company of a naturalist guide who will lead you through stunning landscapes and provide the opportunity to connect with the rich natural diversity of the island. From picturesque panoramas to fascinating underwater experiences, this itinerary encapsulates the magic of the Galápagos at every step.

Destination 2: "Mirador de las Negritas"

The next stop is the “Mirador de las Negritas,” a prominent panoramic viewpoint. Here, the naturalist guide will provide a detailed explanation of the flora and fauna in this environment, enhancing the overall experience. Afterward, the tour will return to the “Lobería.”

Snorkeling Activity at "Lobería"

Back at “Lobería,” passengers will enjoy a snorkeling activity for approximately 45 minutes. This underwater experience will allow them to closely observe sea lions, sea turtles, iguanas, and a variety of fish, including pufferfish and reef species.

Return to the Agency

The itinerary will conclude with the return to the agency around 1:00 p.m., marking the end of this unforgettable day.
