Itinerary:
Meeting at the Agency and Departure
Sailing to Pinzón Island and Penguin Bay
We will commence our navigation towards the stunning Pinzón Island and arrive at Penguin Bay, where our first snorkeling activity will take place. The naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the flora and fauna of the area, enriching your experience. After the activity, we will enjoy hot/cold beverages and snacks on board.
Second Snorkeling Session at Penguin Bay
We will continue exploring Penguin Bay with our second snorkeling session, lasting approximately 45 minutes. Afterwards, we will head towards La Fe for a delicious lunch of fresh fish, prepared just as a local fisherman would, an authentic gastronomic experience.
Visit to Las Palmitas
We will sail towards Las Palmitas, where we will conduct a wet landing and a guided walk. Our guide will share information about the area, the endemic flora and fauna, immersing us in the natural beauty of this unique place.
Live Fishing Demonstration
During the return trip between Las Palmitas and Puerto Ayora, you will participate in an exciting live fishing demonstration. If successful, you will enjoy fresh fish prepared on board, adding a special touch to our experience.
Exploration at Hidden Beach
We will conclude our day at the paradisiacal Hidden Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to take a guided walk to learn more about the local species or enjoy another session of snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.
Return to Puerto Ayora
Our thrilling day will come to an end with a safe return to Puerto Ayora, scheduled for around 4:30 p.m. depending on ocean conditions. It has been an adventure full of exploration and discovery in the Galápagos Islands.
Recommendations:
Bring sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, and personal items for your journey.
If you have your own snorkeling or diving gear, you can bring it one day before and leave it at the agency or on the same day of the tour.
