Itinerary:

Meeting at the Agency and Departure

To start this exciting diving day in the Galápagos Islands, all passengers must be at our agency by 7:00 a.m. From there, we’ll head to the pier, where you’ll meet your diving guide and board the vessel that will take you to explore the underwater marvels.

Sailing to North Seymour

We embark on our journey to North Seymour, a location north of Baltra Island known for its rich marine life and diverse underwater landscapes. During the trip, your diving guide will provide essential information about the diving experience awaiting you in this unique place.

First Dive at North Seymour

Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of North Seymour alongside your diving guide. This dive lasts approximately 45 minutes and will provide you with the opportunity to marvel at a variety of marine species, including sea lions, Galapagos sharks, whitetip and blacktip sharks, hammerhead sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, reef fish, eagle rays, Galapagos eels, barracudas, and a diverse range of invertebrates.

Rest and Refreshments on the Boat

After the first dive, we’ll return to the boat for a well-deserved break of approximately 45 minutes. During this time, you can enjoy snacks and beverages to recharge before the next dive.

Second Dive at Mosquera

We continue our underwater adventure in Mosquera, a small island between Baltra and Seymour. This dive is considered to be of low difficulty, with moderate currents. Your diving instructor will provide the guidelines for the site before you submerge into the waters for another approximately 45 minutes. In Mosquera, you can spot sea lions, rays, turtles, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, reef sharks, endemic fish, and more.

Return to the port

Our diving day concludes around 3:30 p.m., always considering the ocean conditions. This experience will provide you with a unique insight into the astonishing underwater life that inhabits the Galápagos Islands and will leave you with unforgettable memories.

If you have your own snorkeling or diving equipment, you can bring it a day before and leave it at the agency or on the same day of the tour.

Conditions:

This itinerary is subject to changes at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your Naturalist guide, in certain cases, depending on ocean conditions. We take safety seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.

In light of the pandemic, we have implemented strict cleaning policies. Each piece of equipment is thoroughly disinfected between uses, the agency and the boat are cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is available at all times.
