Itinerary:

Preparation and boarding
All passengers must arrive at the agency at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the tour. At 6:30 p.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your guide and your journey will commence towards Darwin Bay.
Sailing to Darwin Bay
During the journey along the northwest coast of the island, you will arrive at Darwin Bay, our designated visit site. Here, you will receive an informative talk from the guide about the site and safety protocols. You’ll also be provided with an underwater flashlight and have time to prepare before entering the sea.
Night Exploration at Darwin Bay
You will embark on an exhilarating snorkeling session around the entire bay, exploring the species that inhabit the darkness of the marine night. Following the staff in charge, you’ll observe a variety of marine life, including fish, lobsters, prawns, reef sharks, sea lions, sea turtles, starfish, and sea urchins. The highlight will be the opportunity to witness the astonishing phenomenon of bioluminescent plankton, microscopic organisms that glow in the dark. You’ll also see sea lions that, as they move, activate the plankton’s lights, creating a luminous spectacle in the sea.
Return and conclusion of the tour
After approximately two hours of snorkeling, you’ll return to the boat and enjoy a hot beverage along with a light snack. Then, we’ll start the journey back to the port, with an estimated arrival time around 9:30 p.m., depending on the ocean conditions. This night experience will leave you with unforgettable memories of the beauty and marine life of the Galápagos under the stars.”
