Whitetip sharks rest and cruise until they reach the pinnacle where we can find eagle and marble rays, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, reef fish, barracudas and a variety of marine invertebrates.

 

Itinerary

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 7h00 to meet with the group and the diving instructor, where we will prepare everyone with the diving equipment, which includes a long wetsuit, boots, fins, regulator, BCD vest, mask, snorkel, weights and two diving tanks.

At 7h30, we will go to the Pier and board the boat.

Located between Seymour and Baltra Island, this low rocky islet offers a unique diving experience, a rocky islet that has beautiful beaches where sea lions rest. The dive site is located 25 minutes from the Itabaca Channel (on the north side of Santa Cruz Island). Normally there are no strong currents in this place, which has a sandy bottom between 15 and 18 meters, as well as garden eels and pelagic species. There is also a wall that begins at 18 meters, where there are black corals and a variety of invertebrates.

Navigation to Mosquera. Once we arrive at the place, the diving guide will proceed to give you the dive briefing. We will visit two dive sites, the second can be Seymour or Mosquera , with a lunch break between them.

It is considered an easy dive. The currents are moderate at this site. This dive is recommended for intermediate to expert divers.

In this place you will be able to appreciate different marine species, hammerhead sharks, black tip reef sharks, white tip sharks, sea lions, turtles, barracudas, reef fish, rays, eagle rays, reef sharks, mobula rays, Galapagos eels and a variety invertebrates. The return to the port is at approximately 15h30, depending the ocean conditions .

* This itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your naturalist guide, in certain cases, depending the ocean conditions. We take safety seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.

* In light of the pandemic, we will implement strict cleaning policies. Each piece of equipment will be completely sanitized between uses, and the agency and the boat will be cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times.
