Itinerary
All passengers must arrive at the agency at 6:30 in the morning, where we will prepare the snorkel equipment, which includes fins, mask, and a snorkel.
We begin the trip by boarding a ferry that leaves at 07:00 am from Santa Cruz.
Upon arrival in Isabela, a naturalist guide will pick you up and take you to the first site by boat from the bay to a group of islets called Tintoreras, known for being the habitat of the Galapagos penguin and blue sharks!
We can see many beautiful birds and we have a great chance of finding sea lions along the coast. Other animals that we can observe while we surround the islets are rays, sea turtles, reef sharks, colorful fish, etc. We also make a landing on one of the islets to take a short walk through its shark channel to observe the blue shark. Perfect for taking photos and videos. We will also have some snorkeling time near the location.
At the end of our activity we return to the port and have lunch.
Our next stop is the Flamingo Lagoon. We will have time to take pictures. To finish our trip, we will stop at the hatchery of Arnaldo Tupiza and observe the large tortoises in the conservation areas.
The return to Puerto Ayora is at approximately 5:30 p.m. depending on ocean conditions.
* This itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your naturalist guide in certain cases, depending on ocean conditions. We take security seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.
* In light of the pandemic, we will be implementing strict cleaning policies. Each piece of equipment will be fully sanitized between uses, and the agency and boat will be cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times.
