Start of the Excursion
The adventure begins early as all passengers must arrive at the agency promptly at 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide, an expert knowledgeable about the wonders of the Galápagos Islands. At 8:30 a.m., we’ll head to our first visitation point in comfortable ground transportation.
Exploration at El Junco Lagoon
Our first stop takes us to El Junco Lagoon, an inactive volcano that houses a stunning lagoon at its summit. Passengers will enjoy a guided walk to the volcano’s peak, about 650 meters above sea level. From here, they can admire a panoramic view of the island while observing birds like finches, frigates, and petrels soaring through the skies.
Visit to La Galapaguera
Your second point of visit takes you to La Galapaguera, a natural laboratory within the Galapagos National Park. Here, visitors will enjoy a guided walk through the grounds, marveling at the impressive Geochelone Chatamensis tortoise species. This location plays a crucial role in the breeding and protection of these tortoises, safeguarding them from the threats posed by invasive species.
Relaxation at Puerto Chino Beach
Our third destination takes us to the beautiful Puerto Chino Beach, an expanse of white sand on the east side of the island. Here, passengers will have time to relax in this beach paradise or take a stroll along the shore, where blue-footed boobies often fly overhead. Additionally, they can enjoy snorkeling to explore the surrounding waters and observe sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and a variety of fish species.
Back to the port
After a day full of exploration and natural wonders, we will return to the port around 1:30 p.m. approximately. This tour offers visitors a unique insight into the beauty and biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands, guided by our expert naturalist.

Bring sunscreen, a cap, sunglasses, a water bottle, and personal items for your trip.

If you have your own snorkeling or diving gear, you can bring it either a day before and leave it at the agency or on the same day of the tour.

The tour can also be done in the afternoon, starting at 1:00 p.m. and concluding at 5:30 p.m.

This itinerary is subject to changes at the discretion of the Galápagos National Park and your naturalist guide.
