Day 1 – Discovery Scuba Dive

Program designed for individuals who have never dived; Open Water License is not required.

This day marks the beginning of your underwater adventure in one of the most amazing diving destinations in the world. Accompanied by our expert diving instructors, you will plunge into crystal-clear waters to discover an underwater world teeming with unique and fascinating marine life.

Itinerary:

Arrival and preparation

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to the Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your diving instructor and start your navigation.

First Dive at Darwin Bay

We will sail to the diving site called Darwin Bay, where we will conduct our first dive of the day. The diving instructor will provide the briefing, and then you will jump into the sea for some surface practices. A line will be used for passengers to descend gradually, making equalizations to avoid discomfort in the ears. Subsequently, we will continue descending to a depth of 8 meters, where you can encounter a variety of marine life. This dive lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on the passenger’s air supply. The maximum depth will be 12 meters.

Marine Life in Darwin Bay

At the dive site, you can observe reef sharks, rays, turtles, barracudas, batfish, sea urchins, various types of starfish, octopus, moray eels, among others. After completing the dive, passengers will return to the boat where they can enjoy snacks and drinks. There will be a break of approximately 1 hour before the second dive.

Second Dive at Carawa

You will sail for about 15 minutes to reach the second diving site called Carawa. A ship that sank approximately 100 years ago used to export various products to the mainland of Ecuador. Here, you can observe different species, as over time, a large reef has formed around the ship’s hull.

Marine Life at Carawa

At the dive site, passengers will prepare with their equipment while listening to the briefing from the instructor. In this dive, passengers will jump into the sea and then follow a line connected from the surface to the sunken ship. Once there, passengers will completely circle the sunken ship before returning to the starting line. This dive also lasts approximately 45 minutes. During this dive, you can observe sea lions, rays, pufferfish, barracudas, turtles, sea urchins, various types of starfish, moray eels, lobsters, octopuses, and more.

Back to the port

After the thrilling day of diving and underwater exploration, we will head back to the port. This return, scheduled around 1:00 p.m., is subject to ocean conditions, ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Day 2 – Snorkel Kicker Rock

This spectacular volcanic islet rises majestically from the ocean and is a privileged spot for snorkeling. A day filled with exciting underwater encounters awaits you as you explore the crystal-clear waters around Kicker Rock. Get ready to swim alongside sea turtles, black and white-tipped sharks, vibrant tropical fish, and an incredible diversity of marine life. Additionally, you will enjoy panoramic views of this stunning islet.

Arrival and preparation

Start your exciting day by arriving at the agency at 7:45 a.m., where you will be welcomed. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to the Acuario I Pier to meet your naturalist guide and begin the navigation to Kicker Rock, returning to the port around 3:00 p.m., adjusting the schedule based on ocean conditions.

Navigation and Exploration

Enjoy a scenic navigation with sightings of dolphins and birds. Upon reaching Kicker Rock, your guide will introduce you to this majestic lava formation and its surrounding marine life. You will have two snorkeling sessions in the channel and the west corner of the rock, exploring an underwater world teeming with sharks, turtles, manta rays, and more. Additionally, observe birds such as blue-footed boobies and pelicans.

Land Time

After snorkeling, you will disembark on a beautiful beach (Manglesito/Puerto Grande/Cerro Brujo) to explore at your own pace. You can take a leisurely stroll along the beach, indulge in another snorkeling session to discover even more marine treasures, or simply enjoy the tranquility of this unique environment.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 3:00 p.m., although please note that the return schedule to the port may vary depending on ocean conditions to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Day 3 – Snorkel Tour 360

This day is filled with unique adventures in places like Rosa Blanca, Punta Pitt, Bahía Sardina, Cerro Brujo, and Islote León Dormido. These destinations will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in crystal-clear waters for snorkeling and discover an underwater world teeming with sharks, manta rays, turtles, and an amazing variety of fish.

Rosa Blanca: Snorkeling and Relaxation

After sailing and disembarking at Rosa Blanca, passengers will have the opportunity to snorkel in the lagoon of Rosa Blanca, where it’s possible to observe turtles, rays, sea lions, reef sharks, and various fish species. They will also enjoy a relaxing time on a beach.

Punta Pitt: Bird Watching

Sailing around Punta Pitt Islet provides a unique opportunity to observe the red-footed booby and other endemic birds. Depending on ocean conditions, sport fishing for tuna and wahoo can also be done at this location.

Bahía Sardina: Lunch and Beach

The journey to Bahía Sardina includes lunch on board the boat. After disembarking, passengers can enjoy a walk and time on the beach. Those interested can also partake in snorkeling to observe sea lions, rays, sea turtles, and other species.

Cerro Brujo: Impressive Geological Structures

Sailing towards Cerro Brujo, visitors can observe the cathedral, an impressive geological structure. It is also possible to spot endemic birds in this area and take photographs.

Leon Dormido Islet: Snorkeling and Marine Fauna Observation

At Leon Dormido Islet, passengers will receive a briefing before an exciting snorkeling session. Here, they can observe the Galapagos shark, white-tipped and black-tipped sharks, hammerhead sharks, turtles, manta rays, sunfish, dolphins, sea lions, starfish, sea urchins, and various fish. They can also admire birds such as frigates, blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, petrels, and lava gulls.

After a day filled with exploration and marine adventures, the return to the port is scheduled around sunset, approximately at 5:00 p.m. This schedule may vary slightly depending on ocean conditions.

Day 4: Ferry San Cristóbal – Santa Cruz

IMPORTANT: Passengers must be present at Hammerhead Shark Pier at 6:00 a.m. for necessary luggage checks by Galapagos National Park personnel and proceed with the boat boarding. The boat journey is estimated to last approximately 2 hours, with the expected arrival in Santa Cruz around 9:00 a.m.

Day 5: Discovery in Seymour

Program designed for individuals who have never dived before, Open Water License not required.

Today, you will immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the Galapagos Islands for a truly exceptional diving experience. Seymour is one of the most thrilling diving destinations, renowned for its rich marine life and fascinating underwater landscapes. Get ready to come face to face with an astonishing variety of marine species, from sharks and turtles to rays and tropical fish.

Arrival and preparation

All passengers must arrive at the agency at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. After preparing the diving equipment, they will head to the classroom, where they will watch an introductory video on the use of diving equipment, signals, and how the diving activity will unfold. Upon completion of the video, they will receive a class from the instructor, who will reinforce the information presented in the presentation.

Boarding and Heading to North Seymour

Later, we will proceed to the dock to board the vessel and depart towards the first site known as North Seymour. Here, you will experience your first dive lasting approximately 45 minutes. The instructor will provide detailed instructions on how to conduct the activity before passengers take the plunge into the sea. During this dive, you will have the opportunity to observe a fascinating variety of marine life, including hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, garden eels, tunas, whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, and sea turtles.

Snack Break and Heading to the Second Site

After concluding the dive, we will board the vessel where you will be provided with snacks, fruits, and drinks as we head to the second visiting site. This second destination could be Mosquera or Daphne, depending on the vessel’s itinerary.

Second Dive and Underwater Exploration

We will arrive at our second visiting site to engage in an exciting snorkeling activity lasting approximately 45 minutes. Here, passengers will have the opportunity to observe reef sharks, Galápagos sharks, hammerheads, mobulas, sea turtles, eagle rays, barracudas, reef fish, and whitetip sharks.

Back to the port

The underwater adventure will come to an end when we return to the port, approximately at 3:30 p.m. This return schedule is subject to ocean conditions, providing divers with the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the Galápagos underwater world before concluding this exciting day of diving and exploration.

Day 6: Isla Pinzón Tour

Today, on the sixth day of our exciting expedition in the Galápagos Islands, we will head to the enigmatic Isla Pinzón. This island is a true natural treasure, known for its spectacular landscape, abundant wildlife, and crystal-clear waters. As we explore its shores and surrounding waters, we will encounter an astonishing variety of species, from marine iguanas to colorful tropical fish. The adventure continues as we engage in exciting activities such as snorkeling in its marine-rich waters and taking a walk on its beach to learn more about the unique flora and fauna that inhabit this natural paradise.

Heading to Pinzón Island

Your navigation to Pinzón Island will begin, a nature gem. At Bahía Pingüino, our first stop, you will enjoy your initial snorkeling activity. Here, the naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the flora and fauna of the area. After this exciting immersion, you can enjoy hot/cold drinks and snacks on board.

Second Snorkeling Session at Bahía Pingüino

The adventure continues at Bahía Pingüino, where you will have the opportunity to engage in a second snorkeling session, lasting approximately 45 minutes. After everyone is back on board, we will sail towards La Fe to savor a delicious seafood-based lunch, an authentic culinary experience from local fishermen.

Exploration at Las Palmitas

Our next stop is Las Palmitas, where we will conduct a wet landing and a guided walk to learn about the area, its endemic flora, and fauna.

Live Fishing Demonstration

During the journey between Las Palmitas and Puerto Ayora, you will enjoy a live fishing demonstration. If we are fortunate enough to catch any fish, we will serve it fresh as part of the experience.

Exploration at Hidden Beach

Finally, we will arrive at Hidden Beach, where we will make a wet landing and embark on a guided walk. Our guide will provide information about local species. You will also have the option to engage in another snorkeling activity or simply relax on this beautiful, paradisiacal beach.

Back to the port

The day concludes with our return to the port, scheduled around 4:30 pm, although this may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 7: Santa Fé Island

On this journey, we will head to the charming Santa Fé Island, known for its stunning natural beauty and rich biodiversity. This island paradise provides us with the opportunity to immerse ourselves in crystal-clear waters for snorkeling and swimming alongside a surprising variety of marine life, such as rays, turtles, tropical fish, and perhaps even reef sharks.

We will begin our navigation to Santa Fe, and we will arrive at Botella, where the first snorkeling activity will take place. Before the immersion, you will enjoy a panga ride along the coastline to spot endemic birds. The naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the location and the surrounding fauna. After concluding the snorkeling activity, hot/cold drinks and snacks will be offered on board.

Heading to La Encañada

After completing the first snorkeling session, we head towards La Encañada, where the second snorkeling session will take place, lasting approximately 45 minutes. Once everyone is on board, you will enjoy lunch.

Experiential Fishing and Hidden Beach

After concluding the activities in Santa Fe, we will continue the journey towards Hidden Beach. During the voyage between Santa Fe and Hidden Beach, there will be a demonstration of experiential fishing. If any fish is caught, it will be served fresh on the spot as part of the activity. Following that, there will be a wet landing at Hidden Beach, where you will embark on a guided walk and receive information about the species and the area. You will have the option to engage in another snorkeling activity or simply enjoy this beautiful paradise beach.

Back to the port

The exciting day will come to an end when we return to the port, approximately at 4:00 p.m. This return schedule is subject to ocean conditions, providing passengers with a day full of exploration and activities in the Galápagos Sea.
