Itinerary

All passengers need to arrive at the agency at 7h00 in the morning of their tour, where we will outfit everyone with snorkeling gear, including a short wetsuit, fins, and a mask and snorkel.

At 7h30, we will head to the Muelle Acuario I and Zarpe, where you will meet your naturalist guide and we will embark.

The ride to Espanola takes about two hours. Upon arrival, you will  disembark the boat at Punta Suarez and go on a 2 hour guided walk of this uninhabited island. You’ll get up close with albatross, blue footed boobies, Darwin’s finches, Galapagos hawks, Nazca boobies, and basking marine iguanas. At the end of the hike, you’ll get to enjoy a small beach where you can relax or take a swim to cool off before emter the boat.

As the boat makes its way to Bahia Gardner, lunch will be served and your guide will inform you in on the details of your next stop. For your meal, you may choose between fish, chicken, vegetarian and vegan options. Beverages and assorted snacks will also be available.

Upon arrival, you’ll have a snorkeling session of about 45 minutes, where you’re likely to spot reef sharks, sea lions, sea urchins, starfish, sea turtles, rays, and many different fish. After snorkeling, you’ll enter the boat for the journey back to San Cristobal, where you’ll arrive at roughly 16h00.

*This itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your naturalist guide. For example, you might snorkel first and do the hike second in certain cases depending on ocean conditions. We take safety seriously, and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.

*In light of the pandemic, we will be implementing stringent cleaning policies. Every piece of equipment will be thoroughly disinfected between uses, and the agency and boat will be wiped down daily. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times, and we will adhere to protocols recommended by the National Park. Your–and our–safety comes first.
