Itinerario:
Preparations and boarding
All passengers must arrive at the agency at 6:45 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 7:00 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your naturalist guide and the navigation towards the stunning Española Island will commence.
Trip to the Española Island
The journey to Española takes approximately two hours, depending on ocean conditions. Upon arrival, you’ll disembark at Punta Suárez and embark on a roughly 2-hour walk. During this hike, you’ll have the opportunity to observe various species, from albatrosses to blue-footed boobies, finches, Galapagos Hawks, Nazca boobies, and marine iguanas, among others.
Rest on the Beach and Lunch
Underwater Exploration at Gardner Bay
We sail to Gardner Bay, where an exciting snorkeling session awaits you. Your naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the place and the fascinating creatures that inhabit it before you dive into the sea. This snorkeling activity lasts approximately 45 minutes and is an opportunity to observe reef sharks, sea lions, sea urchins, starfish, turtles, rays, and a variety of fish.
Return to the port
After the sea immersion, you’ll return to the boat to set sail back. The return to the port is scheduled around 5:00 p.m., although the schedule may vary depending on ocean conditions.
Recommendations:
Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, personal items for your trip.
If you have your own snorkeling or diving equipment, you can bring it either one day before and leave it at the agency or on the day of the tour.
Conditions:
In light of the pandemic, we have implemented strict cleanliness policies. Each piece of equipment is thoroughly disinfected between uses, the agency, and the boat are cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is available at all times.
