Itinerary:

Meeting at the Agency and Departure

All passengers must arrive promptly at our agency at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. After the diving equipment preparation, we will proceed to a classroom where an introductory video will be presented. This video will cover the use of diving equipment, important signals, and the development of the diving activity. At the end of the video, our instructor will provide an in-person class to reinforce the concepts learned.

Boarding and Heading to North Seymour

Once ready, we will head to the pier to board our boat. Our first stop will be North Seymour, where you will have your first dive. This exciting underwater experience will last approximately 45 minutes. Our instructor will provide detailed instructions before the dive. In these waters, you can spot hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, garden eels, tunas, whitetip reef sharks, reef fish, eagle rays, sea turtles, and much more.

Refreshments and Travel to the Second Site

After the dive, we’ll board the boat and offer snacks, fruits, and drinks as we head to the second site. Depending on the boat’s itinerary, this second destination could be Mosquera or Daphne.

Underwater Exploration

Our next activity will be an exciting diving session lasting approximately 45 minutes. During this immersion, you’ll have the chance to observe reef sharks, Galapagos sharks, hammerheads, mobula rays, sea turtles, eagle rays, barracudas, reef fish, and whitetip sharks.

Back to the port

We will conclude our day of underwater adventures and return to the port, around 3:30 p.m., always considering the ocean conditions to ensure the safety of all participants.

If you have your own snorkeling or diving equipment, you can bring it either a day before and leave it at the agency or on the same day as the tour.

This itinerary is subject to changes at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your Naturalist guide, in certain cases, depending on ocean conditions. We take safety seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.

In light of the pandemic, we have implemented strict cleaning policies. Each equipment is thoroughly disinfected between uses, the agency and the boat are cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is available at all times.
