La Lobería: Encounter with Sea Lions
We will sail towards La Lobería, a small islet located just 10 minutes from the port. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel and swim alongside playful sea lions. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and enjoy a close encounter with these charismatic animals.
Punta Estrada: Bird Watching and More Snorkeling
Next, we will move to Punta Estrada, where you can spot a variety of seabirds, including blue-footed boobies, seagulls, and pelicans. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to engage in another snorkeling activity and explore the fascinating underwater world, where you might encounter sea lions, rays, and reef sharks.
Dog Beach and Channel Islands
Our next stop is Dog Beach, an area surrounded by volcanic rocks and home to marine iguanas. We will continue to the Canal del Amor and Shark’s Channel, where you can spot reef sharks in their natural habitat. These experiences will bring you even closer to the fascinating marine life of the Galápagos.
Las Grietas: Snorkeling in Volcanic Channels
Our last stop takes us to Las Grietas, impressive water channels amid volcanic depressions. Here, you’ll engage in another snorkeling activity to explore these unique underwater landscapes and marvel at the marine life that inhabits them.
Back to the port
After a day full of exploration and adventure, we will return to the port of Santa Cruz. The exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions, but we estimate to be back around 1:30 p.m. Stay tuned for the surprises that the Galápagos nature has in store at every corner of this incredible journey.
