This excursion will take you to explore stunning volcanic landscapes, observe diverse marine life, and marvel at spectacular panoramic views. Accompanied by an expert naturalist guide, you will embark on an exciting journey that includes a scenic hike to the top of Bartolomé, snorkeling sessions in crystal-clear waters, and a close encounter with the amazing fauna and flora of the Galápagos.

IMPORTANT: All passengers must arrive at the agency one day before the tour for equipment testing, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Itinerary:
Arrival and Boarding
All passengers must be at the agency by 6:50 am on the day of the tour. At 7:00 am, we will head to the dock where you will meet your naturalist guide and board the vessel.
Summit Stairway Hike
Upon reaching Bartolomé, the naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the area and the surrounding wildlife. We will then embark on an uphill hike through a long wooden staircase of 360 steps to the lookout at the summit, where we will enjoy spectacular views and observe volcanic formations such as lava bombs and parasitic cones. It is also possible to encounter marine iguanas, lava lizards, and unique volcanic plants.
Snorkeling and Beach Time
After the hike, we will return to the vessel to take a dinghy (zodiac) ride and enjoy our snorkeling or swimming activity at Bartolomé Beach or Sullivan Bay. Following this, we will have our onboard lunch.
Back to the port
After getting our belongings ready, we will set sail back to the port, with an estimated arrival around 5:00 pm, depending on the ocean conditions.

Bring sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, and personal items for your journey.
If you have your own snorkeling or diving gear, you can bring it either one day before and leave it at the agency or on the day of the tour.

This itinerary is subject to changes at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your Naturalist Guide, in certain cases, depending on ocean conditions. We take safety seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.
In light of the pandemic, we have implemented strict cleaning policies. Each piece of equipment is thoroughly disinfected between uses, the agency, and the boat are cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is available at all times.
