Day 1 – Kicker Rock Snorkel

Begin your exciting snorkeling adventure in the Galapagos Islands by exploring the iconic Kicker Rock. From the agency, we will depart for Acuario I Pier in the morning, where you will meet our naturalist guide. Kicker Rock, with its majestic volcanic rock, is a marine paradise. You will experience rich underwater life, including sharks and tropical fish, as you explore the crystal-clear waters. Additionally, enjoy a guided land walk to learn about the unique wildlife. Get ready for a unique snorkeling experience in one of the most astonishing destinations in the world!

Itinerary:

Arrival and Preparation

Your exciting journey begins early. All participants must arrive at our agency by 7:45 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet with our naturalist guide, and the navigation to Kicker Rock will commence.

Scenic Navigation

During the boat journey, you will have the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the Galapagos. You may spot playful dolphins and various bird species flying over the region. An impressive view awaits you upon reaching Kicker Rock, a majestic formation of volcanic lava rock.

Underwater Exploration

Two exciting snorkeling sessions are scheduled for this day. The first will take place between the two rocks of Kicker Rock, while the second will lead you to the west corner of the rock. Our naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the area and its marine inhabitants. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes, and you will be amazed by the diverse marine life, including Galapagos sharks, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, turtles, manta rays, sunfish, dolphins, sea lions, starfish, sea urchins, and a variety of colorful fish.

Beach and More Snorkeling

After exploring Kicker Rock, you will have a landing on one of our beautiful beaches, which could be Manglesito, Puerto Grande, or Cerro Brujo, depending on the boat itinerary. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely beach walk and engage in another snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters.

Back to the port

The adventure comes to an end around 3:00 p.m., always subject to ocean conditions.

Day 2 – Chatham Tour

On the second day, we will have an exciting land exploration. Visit El Junco Lagoon to see birds such as finches and petrels. Then, meet the giant Galapagos tortoises at the Galapaguera and later relax on the beautiful Puerto Chino Beach, where you can snorkel with turtles and rays. A day filled with natural diversity in the Galapagos.

Arrival and preparation
Start your day early. All participants must arrive at our agency by 8:00 a.m., where they will meet their naturalist guide. At 8:30 a.m., we will head to our first destination in our ground transportation.
El Junco Lagoon

Our first stop is El Junco Lagoon, located in an inactive volcano. You will enjoy a guided hike to the top of the volcano, where you will witness an impressive lagoon formed by the constant rains in the high part of the island. From this elevated position at 650 meters above sea level, you will have a panoramic view of the island and the opportunity to spot various birds soaring the skies, such as finches, frigatebirds, and petrels.

La Galapaguera

Our second point of visit is La Galapaguera, a natural laboratory that is part of the National Park. Here, you will take a guided walk through the area and have the opportunity to witness the majestic Geochelone Chatamensis tortoise species. You will discover how these tortoises are bred and protected from invasive species at this breeding center.

Puerto Chino Beach
Our third and final destination is the beautiful white sandy beach of Puerto Chino, located on the east side of the island. Here, you will have time to relax on the beach or take a stroll along the coast, where it’s common to spot blue-footed boobies. You will also have the opportunity to snorkel and explore the crystal-clear waters in search of sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and a variety of fish species.

The day concludes around 1:30 p.m. with our return to the port.

Day 2 afternoon – Isla Lobos Snorkel

The third day of our journey is an exciting combination of aquatic exploration at Isla Lobos. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy snorkeling while playful sea lions surround you. An unforgettable experience that allows you to discover the amazing underwater world of the Galapagos Islands.

Exploration at Isla Lobos

Upon arriving at Isla Lobos, you will disembark at one end of the island and begin a fascinating guided walk that covers the entire site. Your naturalist guide will provide detailed information about the island and the various animal species you may observe, such as finches, pelicans, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, frigatebirds, and sea lions, among others. This exploration will reveal the natural richness of the island.

Lunch at Ochoa Beach

After the walk, you will return to the boat and sail to your second destination: Ochoa Beach. Here, you will enjoy a delicious lunch on board and have the opportunity to relax. Additionally, you can snorkel to observe the amazing marine life in the area, such as sea lions, sea turtles, starfish, octopuses, and various fish species.

Back to the port

The day will conclude around 12:30 p.m., at which point you will return to the port. The exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.

Day 3 – Discovery Scuba Dive

The third day of your incredible diving adventure takes you to Darwin Bay and Carawa, some of the most iconic places in the Galapagos. You will dive into their crystal-clear waters and explore their mysterious tunnels and passages. While diving, you will have the opportunity to spot sharks, turtles, manta rays, and an incredible variety of marine life. It is the highlight of your diving journey in the Galapagos and an experience you will remember forever.

Itinerary:

Arrival and Preparation

Start your adventure early. All passengers must arrive at our agency by 7:00 a.m. on the day of the tour. At 8:00 a.m., we will head to Acuario I Pier, where you will meet your diving instructor and begin preparing for a unique underwater experience.

First Dive at Darwin Bay

We will sail to the spectacular diving site known as Darwin Bay, where our first dive of the day will take place. Your diving instructor will provide a comprehensive briefing, and once in the water, you will perform surface practices. You will descend gradually using a line, allowing you to adjust to the pressure and avoid ear discomfort. You will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and explore the waters for approximately 45 minutes, depending on your air supply. This dive site is teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, rays, turtles, barracudas, batfish, sea urchins, various species of starfish, octopuses, and moray eels.

Recovery and Rest

After the thrilling dive, you will return to the boat to enjoy snacks and drinks. You will have a well-deserved break of approximately 1 hour before your next underwater adventure.

Second Dive at Carawa

We will sail for about 15 minutes to reach Carawa, a dive site that houses the remains of a shipwreck that occurred almost a century ago. Over time, this wreck has given rise to the formation of a vibrant reef that attracts various marine species. Equipped with everything needed and after receiving another briefing from the diving guide, participants will immerse themselves in these historically rich waters. During the dive, which also lasts around 45 minutes, they may observe sea lions, rays, pufferfish, barracudas, turtles, sea urchins, various types of starfish, moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses.

Back to the port

The adventure concludes around 1:00 p.m., at which point you will return to the port. Please note that the exact return time may vary depending on ocean conditions.
