Serious agency, they have treated us phenomenally, everything was very good! From the logistics employees in the offices to the entire crew! We have done several activities with them, and everything was fantastic! But I would like to highlight the guide Jesús González, who of all the instructors has been by far the most professional, serious and safe!He has a lot of experience at a technical level both underwater and with the material, it is a plus of security that everything is in order. It's been fantastic! If I could choose it I would choose it without hesitation! Thank you for such nice experiences!

Two days before the Floreana daytrip (snorkel only, no scuba diving) I received an email saying that we need to try on the gear one day before the tour at the office. When we arrived there one day prior to the tour, the guy said we can try on tomorrow morning right before the tour. We should be there at 07:30 so the boat can leave at 08:00. On the day of the tour we were there at 07:30, tried on the fins, snorkel mask and the short wetsuit THEY handed to us, we didn‘t choose the wetsuit (important for later). Six other people tried on the gear and we left the office after 08:00 to go to the port. There we had to wait approximately 30‘. We left by boat at 08:40, so 40‘ later than planned. After the 2-hour ride we prepared for our first snorkel round. At this point I was hungry again since it’s been almost 4 hours since breakfast. My friend and I started to put on the short wetsuit (only up to the elbows and knees), when the guide asked my friend if she has a long one since the water was very cold. She said no, only the short one because the woman gave it to her. He then said: „No, you chose this one“, which is not true. Regardless, he gave her a long wetsuit but there was only one, so I went into the water with the short one (I was the only one of the group with a short one) and yes, it was cold, and it is unprofessional to give your participants short wetsuits and then blame them saying they chose it. Also, we asked for a life vest because we feel safer with one even though we can swim. When we asked the guide, he asked why and if we cannot swim. When we explained, he replied with „just hold on to the life ring“, but we wanted a life vest, why is this so difficult to understand? He then gave us one. Nevertheless, we saw turtles, sea lions, marine iguanas, and a lot of birds and big fish. When we got back, we received a snack, a mini muesli after which I was still hungry but I told myself that we probably eat lunch after the next activity. The next activity was a walk on the island. We had to put our shoes in a plastic bag which was carried by the guide because we all had to jump into the water and swim to the shore. With no towels and a soaked wetsuit we had to put on our shoes, my friend and I had sneakers with us because in the description of the tour it said that we needed closed-toe shoes. Of course our shoes got wet very quickly for a walk that we could have easily done in slippers/flipflops, just like the guide. We walked up for 5‘ and enjoyed the view, the guide told us some facts about Floreana, and the we went back down, and again had to take off the shoes and swim to the boat. Still, there was no lunch at 12:30. I asked the guide for some food since it says in the description that snacks are available. The only thing he gave me was some waffle biscuits that I didn‘t like the taste of (orange). The next stop was snorkelling again, where we saw an eagle ray and a lot of fish. After that still no lunch. We went for a second walk, same procedure with the shoes and the swimming, shoes were soaked. We saw some flamingos which was nice. Then we went back and finally, at 14:30 we got lunch (tour officially started at 07:30 so 7 hours ago with only a tiny muesli inbetween). That was also the first time they offered us drinks. After that they did some fishing where participants could choose to participate. They caught a yellow fin tuna and instead of killing it instantly they gave the fish to the other tourists who then took a lot of pictures posing with the suffering fish. I asked the guide why they don‘t just kill it instantly and take pictures afterwards but he just laughed it off. I wouldn‘t recommend this trip as it‘s unprofessional and badly organized.

We booked the following tours through aquaventures:- Kicker Rock Diving- Roca Ballena & Carawa- Gordon Rocks (outsourced to Shark Bay Diving)- North Seymour and Mosquera (outsourced to Shark Bay Diving)- Los Túneles Tour (outsourced to Pahoehoe)all the tours were great, the ones on San Cristobal are ran by Aquaventures and the team were all friendly and helpful, and the diving gear great. The dive instructors and underwater naturalists were so knowledgable and we had an amazing time diving ☺️The companies they outsourced the activities on the other island too were also amazing and we were really happy with them. My only bit of feedback would be that we weren’t told who the other activities were with, and had to ask after getting to the other islands and realising there was no Aquaventures dive shop - would be good if this info was sent ahead of time ☺️

Unsure how this dive centre has such high reviews. Booked a kicker rock dive and whale rock dive online with them. Kicker rock dive felt as if they couldnt wait to get the day over with, dive instructor Franklin was good and thorough however but rest of the boat/crew did not seem interested. Boat was also not of a great standard and lunch was served on the go when we were promised a nice scenic stop for lunch.Whale rock tour, depsite being the same price as kicker rock tour was only 4hrs and did not include lunch, this was on their website however not easily noticeable or what you would expect for $200 per person for the day.Very disappointed in the overall experience.Booked tours with other companies and had much better experiences.

After 100 dives, this is definitely the worst dive centre I have been to. They do not care about how experienced you are, as long as you have an OW and pay for your dive, you are good to go. We were in a group with 3 OWs with only 5-7 dives each. It was clear that they could not even control their buoyancy. This would have been fine if they had at least 2 guides, but they only offer 1 guide for up to 8(!) people. Before the first dive, I received a faulty regulator, which they quickly replaced because I noticed, but also the replaced regulator was leaking. During the first dive, it was clear that safety regulations for Franklin (the dive guide) are optional. We went straight to 26 meters, and of course, the other divers blew half our their tank in 15 minutes. Then Franklin took us to 10 meters, where one of the OW divers had an uncontrolled ascent. Nevertheless, Franklin continued the dive for 15 more minutes at 10m and the last 15 at 5 meters. Only to be able to tell you that you dove for 45 minutes. I was surprised to see that the diver who did an uncontrolled ascent was able to do his second dive, although safety procedures clearly state he should not. Same story during the second dive, but now Franklin let 2 divers go up after 30 minutes on their own without safety stop. For the last 15 minutes, we stayed at 5 meters again.Shortly, the dive centre is reckless and does not consider safety procedures at all.Especially when we brought this to the attention of the dive centre, and we complained about the dive, the only thing they kept repeating was that everyone was certified. If you want a decent bottom time and a dive centre where they do respect safety procedures, it's probably best to avoid this one.

My buddy and I did 5 dives here: On day 1 we did 1 at Roca Ballena, 1 at Darwin’s Bay and 1 night dive at Darwin’s Bay. On day 2 we did 2 dives at Kicker Rock. During day 1, two guides were sent with a group of 6 during the day and for the night dive two guides for a group of 3. We didn’t see much, but that is the ocean and we don’t blame anyone for that. The serious problems started on day 2. One diving guide was sent with a group of 5 divers with vastly different experience levels. 3 divers had 5-7 logged dives and the 2 of us each have around 100 logged dives. During the first dive, we stayed 20 minutes around 21 m. with a max. depth of 26 m. - one of the inexperienced divers had an uncontrolled ascent. We all continued diving, including the diver with the uncontrolled ascent, for 15 min. at 10 m. and 10 min. at 5 m. The second dive, the diver with the uncontrolled ascent was allowed to dive again(!) - This time we stayed around 20 min at 20 m., after which 2 of the inexperienced divers were getting low on air and were sent to surface, without safety stop. We continued diving without them at a shallow depth and did not get to see marine life to speak of. When we raised our concerns with Aquaventures, we were brushed off. My conclusion is that this organization is not interested in your safety, nor in the dive enjoyment of more experienced divers. They should have separated the groups based on experience. They should not take open water divers deeper than 18m. They should respect safety procedures. I would certainly never dive here again, nor would I recommend others to do so.

Nice dives with aquaventures. Sadly the time is restricted to 45min per dive by the national park. Longer dives are easy possible.Diving with Aleska and Franklin was pure joy. Very professional friendly and well informed for every question.
My wife and I dove Kicker Rock with Aquaventures and had a great experience. Profesional and friendly staff. Saw a large school of hammerheads and lots of other cool stuff. Great trip

Our diving experience in San Cristobal was extremely disappointing…At the club we had a good welcome. We were told that the group would be made up of divers of the same level. This was not the case. We had “beginner” divers alongside seasoned divers. The first instructor (the oldest) recited his briefing and had no psychology... Consequently, faced with a very strong current and terrible visi, we remained clinging to the rock in single file... we had a lousy dive so than the other group who had gone “into the blue” and were able to enjoy the shark spectacle.Fortunately for the second dive, even if the visibility was still poor and the current strong... our group was taken care of by the youngest instructor, more attentive and friendly. However, it was not “Ouffffissime” and in summary the dives and the services are far from worth the price paid.

Kicker Rock is one of the most beautiful dives that I have experienced, there was a mind blowing school of Salema fish, sea lions and sharks playing and breaking their formation; several kinds of sharks including hammer sharks, and many turtles. It is a must, just be sure to select a good company that contributes to the enjoyment, and does not pull you back from it.I was very hesitant to write this review, but in the same way that the Dive Community deserves to hear about the excellent services provided by the DiveCenters, they also deserve to be aware of the negative aspects and take a more informed decision, if you only care about the DiveSite but not so much about the service, this might not be a big deal for you.I had my reservation for a DiveTour with Sharksky, they ended up sending me to AquaAdventures Dive Center. Good thing I went to check the day before the tour.Great things is that the group was small, it was just me and 2 other divers + the MasterDiver. We ended up sharing the boat with about 10-15 people snorkeling, and their guides. The dive site was lovely, but the experience with the dive master is my worst to date...by far! Here are my reasons:1. The DiveMaster was the most egocentric person in the service industry that I have met. Rather than allowing us to relax, he was just coming to tell us about his many years of experience diving, that he knew the area soooo well, how we needed to always be looking at him and so on. He even made some jokes that felt disrespectful.Other dive masters allow you to enjoy the ride, and tell you all the safety information, plan and expectations for the dive during the debrief, without needing to brag, the professionalism is something that shows.2. During the dives, he wanted us to be looking at him constantly, he was making noises as if he was screaming to get our attention at all times. Most of my videos have his "voice yelling" in the background.3. After the first dive, one of the guys in the tour told him that he was very intense, his response was "I'm trying to keep you safe". I have met many other DiveMasters (I have over 100 dives around the globe) and trust me, they have been much better at keeping us safe, guiding us, showing us the points of interest but keeping a peaceful and relaxing energy, even when the currents are strong and the surface is choppy.4. The worst part is that he interrupted my shots many times. That was my first time seeing thousands of Salema fish in formation, I was amazed by the beauty of their perfectly coordinated swim; as I was recording the fish he came into the shot with a sign that he made for his godson's b-day, not only once, many times. That's right, he was asking the THREE of us to record him holding the sign underwater, rather than letting us enjoy the environment. As you know, during diving there are many great sights and experiences that last for a fraction of a moment, if you are not looking you might miss something big. The moment is gone.5. As I was trying to get out of the water, I was holding onto the ladder, trying to remove my fins, he offered help to remove the belt, he got touchy! If he has 30+ years of experience diving of course he knows where the belt is. And come on, there is not much to sense with a 7mm west suit! Still, It didn't feel right.6. After we went back to land, he messaged me to get the videos for his godson. I was upset, his energy was too much for me, and I wasn't willing to waste any more time on him. First, those were in my GoPro, I wasn't going to change my plans to go over all the footage on a vacation or look for WiFi nor waste data on my limited international plan. That was my first time in San Cristobal and I don't know when I will be back. Time while traveling is premium. On the other hand, the Guides on the snorkeling tour were super nice, kind and friendly. We had a delicious ceviche for lunch. The people snorkeling mentioned that they saw turtles and enjoyed the tour, so if you are thinking about snorkeling with them, you will be mooore than fine.

A well located center, very friendly, new equipment, the best boat, crew and food of all the centers we have dived with. The only drawback is the instructor (I don't know if they always work with the same one), he has very little tact, especially with less experienced divers.

Had one of the most incredible dive days of my life. Franklin, our dive guide was amazing and very professional! The thing I really appreciated from these guys is that they provide a check dive, allowing you to make sure your gear and weights are in perfect order and correct prior to the official dives at Kicker Rock.Upon entry we saw a school of hammerheads that hung around for the whole dive. There was so much fish, turtles and other marine life too! On the second dive we were engulfed by a highway of Salema fish, and every so often mackerel, sea lions and blacktip sharks would penetrate through the traffic to create dark holes. It was insane! Thanks so much guys for the absolute Galapagos dream dives!!

We decided on a snorkeling trip to Kickers Rock and were very satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went out with a group of divers and were quickly joined by two more snorkelers at the harbor. We were looked after very well during the tour and while one group did their dives, we had our own guide with us for snorkeling. He showed us the best spots and ensured our safety. With his help we were able to discover countless turtles as well as various sharks and even hammerhead sharks. Kickers Rock is a bit like a giant aquarium and really beautiful. Back on the boat we had lunch and a stop at the nearby beach. We were even offered snacks and drinks between snorkeling and diving. We felt safe and well looked after. After the tour you could download the pictures and videos from the GoPro camera for free in the shop.

Night Dive and Kicker Rock Tour were great. Thanks! The dive at Roca Ballena in combination with the wreck in the bay was definitely too expensive overall! For that much money you have to offer more (towel, snack between dives, proper drinking water dispenser). The second dive on the wreck was also ended very early for relatively no reason. A pity. That's still potential!

I went on the 360° Snorkel tour with this company because I got the shop strongly recommended. I knew that the tour here is a bit more expensive then with other operators but they explained they have the better equipment and the better boat so I believed it and booked the tour. The tour itself was nice but I ended up in the same boat as people who paid 50$ Dollars less. The motor of the pangaboat broke, we only went to two instead of three snorkelspots (the guide said they didn't go there lately for safety reasons but nobody told me the day before when I booked it) and in the end the Zipper of my wetsuit (which btw had the most holes out of all the wetsuits from the people on the boat) broke. All of this is not the end of the world even though it really proved them wrong on how they explained the higher price but what really disappointed me was that when I told the person in the shop about my experience and my impression to be overcharged (and I did that without any accusations or demands) I literally didn't get any reaction and the person just walked away from me. I felt very uncomfortable to not be heard at all.

We would like to highlight the professionalism and kindness of all the staff and give a super 10 to our guide Franklin Orvera, because we felt super safe, cared for and he made us see the hammers. Dishonest boat crew - forgot my expensive dive flashlight on the boat in the fresh water bucket. Crew said there was no flashlight there when I returned back to get it. I booked the 360 degree tour with this agency and the diving at Kicker Rock once.1) 360 degree tour: the beginning with snorkeling and the subsequent beach were great. The rest of the day, however, was just bumpy sailing on a boat that you couldn't see. So we spent most of the time staring at the side of the boat. The second snorkeling spot was also the worst I've ever been to: nothing to see and no one on the boat could understand why they stopped there. For the price, this tour with the ship we were on is not recommended. Our crew didn't even have soap for their masks at the snorkeling spot, so our masks kept fogging up.2) Diving: the agency actually put an absolute beginner who only had his open water certificate and couldn't even swim in the group with us advanced divers —> sorry, totally irresponsible. Finally, I was told that we would be diving up to 25m deep, which you can't do with just open water (plus the dive site isn't exactly suitable for beginners). Ultimately, the instructor in the boat told him shortly beforehand that he couldn't let him dive like that (luckily). The diving itself at Kicker Rock was really great and a unique experience, even if our diving instructor wasn't particularly friendly with us.Overall, I wouldn't necessarily book my tours with this agency again.

I did a day of diving with them and was very disappointed. The staff (neither on land nor on the boat) does not want to work, they speak to you bordering on rudeness and the safety procedures are not followed to the letter. Snacks and lunch are the bare minimum. Fortunately Kicker Rock is so extraordinary that even with this type of service the dive remains spectacular but I would never dive with Aquaventures again

A great experience from beginning to end. We were the only 2 snorkelers on a tour with several divers. However even though we didn’t dive we saw an incredible amount of wildlife. Immediately upon jumping in the water we were greeted by several Galapagos sharks. Our snorkel guide was great. He led us around and through the rock formation and we were able to spot more sharks, turtles, a playful sea lion, rays, even a Hammerhead! He was able to get some good footage and pictures of us with the animals on our GoPro. Lunch was filling and much better than expected and the second snorkel spot/beach was beautiful and remote. Had a great experience overall and highly recommend AquaVentures!

Was underwhelmed by the staff. They appeared to be very unmotivated and just wanted to be done with the tour/dive. Other people on my group experienced it the same way.The equipment is in good shape and the safety precautions were very good. Still, I wouldn’t recommend or come back here. I think there might be better alternatives on San Cristobal.

Such a great experience with Aquaventures - thank you! I went diving at Kicker Rock, and our group of 8 had such a good time that 6/8 booked again for the next day, this time at Roca Ballena. Our guides (Daniel and Ivan for Kicker Rock, and I've forgotten the name of our guide the next day sorry 😬 ) were all awesome and the energy on the boat and then underwater was great. We had two unforgettable dives at Kicker's Rock. The equipment of the dive center was great and there were even women's suits. Franklin was a very professional dive guide who has a lot of experience and respected nature and animals at all times, truly one of a kind. We were able to experience two dives with countless hammer and reef sharks, to see reef sharks and sea lions hunting and always had the feeling of observing the animals and not disturbing them. An absolute plus is the crew and the ship 7 Mares we have never been on such a beautiful and large catamaran for a day trip with such a professional and courteous crew. Thanks!!!The pictures Franklin took while diving are great! Absolutely worth the money (diving is expensive in Galapagos)!

I’ve been diving with Aquaventures two years in a row and have not been disappointed. The crew is organized from the start of trying equipment on the day before and the staff speak English well. You’ll be placed on a boat with people from other shops and appointed a guide from the park service. We had Franklin who was top notch and highly recommend! We just had a horrible experience on Isabella and it really showcased the professionalism and organization of Aquaventures.

Great place for a day snorkel tour, their boat was quite nice and took it's time, it was a smooth ride so no issues with Sea Sickness. The guide they brought us to was very knowledgeable, took great videos and photos on their GoPro and shared them after so we could focus on the fish. Just be careful getting your equipment fitted, we had some issues getting everything to work comfortably.
We celebrated our 5-year marriage anniversary with Aquaventures! It was wonderful. It was like being in a whole new world under water. With their training and attention, I felt safe, even though I don’t swim all that well. They make you feel safe they are true pros. And if you’ve fear or doubts, they will assist you and train you. They’re the best. Also, kudos for Francisco for being patient like a Saint.

We booked and paid online before we got to San Cristobal, which was unnerving because our previous dive was cancelled last minute but this company delivered!! They were all set up and ready for us to try on our gear the night before, it was all new dive equipment, well taken care of too. The staff were all amazing, so helpful, accommodating and informative. All 3 trips we did with them were great and we saw so much! So happy we booked with aqua adventures, they went above and beyond to make our Dives amazing!! And they sent us all the videos which were so great!! Such a great experience!!

Great team at Aquaventures Dive center! We did an explore dive with Josue and he is the best Dive Master we could have wished for. He explained everything very well, made us feel safe and comfortable so that we had an amazing diving experience and could focus on the wildlife which was outstanding. We did Kickers Rock with them as well and the naturalist guide they work with (Angel) was really great, the equipment very good and the boat too. We were a small group which we liked as well. Thank you guys, you do an amazing job on San Crístobal.

Wonderful experience with a 360 tour thanks 100% to the guide Enrique. We dove at Darwin bay and the ship wreck. It was so fun. The crew is very relaxed. The tuna sandwich was such a good snack between the dives. Stephen was a very calm instructor that helped us when my partner ran out of air. That is a very good quality in an instructor. I would definitely dive with them again. They also got really good GoPro footage!!

We had two diving days with the guys of Aquaventures: Roca Ballena, Carawa and two dives at Kickers Rock. The dive guides were great fun, all perfectly organized, good equipment, simply perfect. We‘ve seen many curious, playful sea lions, sea turtles, sharks (among those a school of hammer heads), … absolutely recommendable.Thank you all Alex, Angel, Franklin, Matilde and all the other guys!!

We were lucky with what we saw - a huge bait ball, sea lions, turtles, hammerheads, black tip sharks, and a huge eagle ray. Would highly recommend!

We did the 360 tour. They were very professional, informational and even let us use their own personal waterproof camera. Thanks for the wonderful experience! (Word of advice for those new to trips on water… do NOT forget to have something for sea sickness.)

I have physical and mobility challenges and this course was tough but Enrique was so kind and encouraging and literally walked me through it! It was an amazing experience and great way to not just see but experience the beauty of the islands.

I did my Open Water Certification with Josue and it was an amazing experience. He’s an excellent, calm and clear instructor. We blazed through it in the span of a few days and did our first real dives an incredible environment teeming with life. Completely and absolutely worth it.

I highly recommend here for your Galapagos' Diving! I did refresh Diving (Darwin Bay and Karahua), and Kicker Rock Diving. Communication with staff was very smooth and fun. Additionally Josue, his explanation about diving knowledge was so clear and great help for me. The equipments were maintained pretty well and comfortable. So, it was really enjoyable time, thank you so much!
